Large Murano Glass Vase

This Large Vase is a massive 35cm Tall and 25cm Wide.

Lovely White Milk coloured Glass, with the theme of love and embrace, in the vase. The vase is designed to reflect the wings of a bird and with a centre embrace at the top

This vase makes a great standalone piece or can be used by filling with lovely flowers.

This stunning vase has been handmade, by Venetian craftsmen, with original Murano glass techniques.

Handcrafts make this product exclusive and unique, as the small and typical errors of handwork creations

Venetian glass has been made for over 1,500 years, and production has been concentrated on the Venetian island of Murano since the 13th century.

Today Murano is known for its art glass, but it has a long history of innovations in glassmaking in addition to its artistic fame and was Europe's first major glassmaking centre.

During the 15th century, Murano glassmakers created cristalleria which was almost transparent and considered the finest glass in the world. Murano glassmakers also developed a white-coloured glass (milk glass called lattimo) that looked like porcelain.
